Conservative Record
Principles Matter. Leadership Requires Action.

Wendy Hausman believes conservative leadership means more than putting a label on a ballot. It means having the courage to stand on principle, make difficult decisions, and remain accountable to the people who elected you.

She believes government exists to protect individual liberty, uphold the Constitution, protect families, and responsibly manage the taxpayers' money.

Her conservative philosophy is grounded in a simple belief: government should serve the people, not control them.

Limited and Accountable Government

Wendy believes government should do what it is constitutionally authorized to do, do it well, and stay out of people's lives when government intervention is unnecessary.

She supports reducing waste, eliminating unnecessary bureaucracy, increasing transparency, and making government agencies accountable for how they spend taxpayer dollars.

As Chair of the Government Efficiency Committee, she is putting that principle into action by examining how state government operates and looking for opportunities to make it more efficient and accountable.

Protecting Individual Liberty

Wendy believes freedom is not granted by government. It is protected by government.

She stands for constitutional rights, individual responsibility, private property rights, freedom of speech, and the principle that government power must have limits.

She believes Missourians should have the freedom to make decisions for themselves and their families without unnecessary government interference.

Protecting Families and Parental Rights

Wendy believes parents have the primary responsibility for raising their children and that government should support families rather than replace them.

Her legislative record reflects that belief through her work protecting children, strengthening parental rights, supporting foster families, and addressing threats to children in an increasingly digital world.

Respecting Taxpayers

Wendy believes taxpayers deserve to know where their money goes and should not be asked to continually pay more because government refuses to control its spending.

She supports responsible budgeting, tax relief, and policies that allow Missouri families and businesses to keep more of what they earn.

Personal Responsibility and Opportunity

Wendy believes people should have the opportunity to build their own future through hard work, personal responsibility, education, entrepreneurship, and strong families.

Government can help remove barriers to opportunity, but it cannot and should not replace the responsibility of individuals, parents, families, businesses, and communities.

A Constitutional Republic

Wendy believes the Constitution is the foundation of American government and that elected officials have a responsibility to protect it.

She believes power belongs to the people and that elected officials are entrusted with that power, not entitled to it.

Her conservative record is not defined by a political label alone. It is reflected in the legislation she sponsors, the votes she casts, and the principles she is willing to defend when the politically convenient choice is not the right choice.

A Conservative Record You Can Measure

Wendy Hausman does not expect voters to take her word for it.

Her philosophy is clear. Her record is public. And her commitment is to continue fighting for limited government, individual freedom, strong families, fiscal responsibility, and the Constitution.
